FallFree offers clients a unique experience of climbing the Via Ferrata and abseiling at Shelter Rock in the Magaliesburg Mountains.
“A Via Ferrata (Iron Way) is a stairway anchored on the side of a mountain. It was designed to move troops speedily over the Alps during the world wars. There are presently more than 300 Via Ferratas. The Via Ferrata on Shelter Rock is the only one in the Magaliesburg Mountains.“
Allow 5 hours for the Via Ferrata climb and 3 hours for the Shelter Rock abseil.
